District Primary Purpose:
To support the Deputy Chief of School Leadership in elevating the district's educational leadership, ensuring principals and assistant principals thrive as instructional leaders and in creating environments that promote management excellence, positive school climate and culture, and continuous improvement.

 

Department Primary Purpose:
To assist in the execution and management of initiatives and programs under the Deputy Chief of School Leadership, focusing on professional development, coaching, and the success of school leaders. This role is crucial in operationalizing strategies that develop and support a robust leadership pipeline and ensure high standards across schools.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee, supervise, and evaluate school principals, and collaborate with relevant departments and teams including coordinators or specialists focused on specific areas of school leadership development and support.

 

Working Conditions

Physical Demands:
Typical demands of an office environment, with regular visits to schools for program implementation, meetings, and coaching sessions.

 

Work Environment:
Office-based with moderate noise levels and frequent interaction with school leaders and district staff. Travel within the district is required.
