District Primary Purpose:
Lead and advance human capital initiatives, driving an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing culture through strategic talent development, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and effective HR management.

 

Department Primary Purpose:
Strategically manage the district's human resources (HR) department, ensuring the recruitment, development, and retention of a diverse and talented workforce. Champion DEI, professional development, performance management, and HR services aligned with the district’s objectives, while fostering employee wellness, competitive salary and compensation practices, and a positive staff climate and culture.

Directly supervises and evaluates Human Resources Department  staff.

 

Working Conditions

Physical Demands:
Standard office environment requirements: sitting, using computers, communicating verbally and electronically, occasional lifting.

 

Work Environment:
Moderate noise levels typical of an office environment. Frequent travel to schools, department locations, and community meetings is required.
